Crawley Writers Circle usually meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, except in December.
All meetings are
10am – 12 noon.

Themes for this month are Flight, Peace and Reconciliation and 'Let's Celebtate'.
Come and visit our exhibition 'I see the sea' alongside the work of Crawley Camera Club and Crawley Art Society until 11th October.

Poems of Peace 2026
'Peace and Reconciliation'
Crawley Writers' Circle will be creating a poetry trail in the town in connection with Wordfest Crawley in March 2026. Anyone who enjoys writing poetry is invited to send poems for inclusion to crawleywriterscircle@gmail.com. The deadline for receiving poems is midday 19th November 2025.
Poems may also be handed in at Crawley Writers Circle, Crawley Creative Writers meetings or to any member of Crawley Writers' Circle.

The theme is Peace and Reconciliation .

There is a strict maximum of 60 words and 10 lines of poetry ( not including the title)

The deadline for receiving poems will be Mid day 19th November 2025.

All poems must be suitable for a public space. We are looking for poems with a positive and uplifting message.

Authors must have some connection to Crawley or Horsham.

Up to five poems may be offered for consideration. They must all fit all the criteria to be considered.

Poems may be in a language other than English if a translation is provided – this will be verified.

No remuneration will be offered as this is a community project.

Poets are welcome to offer their own artwork to display with their poem.
