The themes for this month are I see, the sea; the sky and a childhood memory.
Writing on other themes is also welcome.

Crawley Writers' Circle have an exhibition at Crawley Museum In August and September alongside Crawley Art Society and Crawley Camera Club.
​
Crawley Writers Circle are planning to create a book full of stories from Crawley people, about life in Crawley past and present.
We would love to hear your stories we believe that everyone has a story to tell and we would like to celebrate this. Please email your story to crawleywriterscircle@gmail.com, stating that you would like it to be included in the oral history book.

History book Submission Guidelines and Terms and Conditions

The book is an opportunity to tell your stories about your life and experiences in Crawley but not your whole life history.

The book will be organised by decade.

Maximum length is 500-1,500 words, but can be a short poem and include photos

The deadline for receiving poems will be 31st September 2025

All work must be family friendly to be accepted.

Authors must have some connection to Crawley.

Authors can write items for more than one section.

No remuneration will be offered as this is a community project.

Authors are welcome to offer their photos display with their work. (there is at this point no guarantee that they will be used)
